Why Clear Your Cache?
Your browser stores temporary files to load websites faster. Sometimes this cached data becomes outdated and causes issues like:
- Websites not displaying correctly
- Unable to log into sites
- Old content showing instead of updates
- Browser running slowly
Google Chrome
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete
- Select time range: All time
- Check: Cached images and files
- Optionally check: Cookies and other site data (this will log you out of websites)
- Click Clear data
Microsoft Edge
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete
- Select time range: All time
- Check: Cached images and files
- Click Clear now
Mozilla Firefox
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete
- Select time range: Everything
- Check: Cache
- Click Clear Now
Quick Refresh (Without Clearing Cache)
If you just need to reload a single page with fresh content:
- Press Ctrl + F5 to force refresh the current page
- This bypasses the cache for that page only
