Join a Teams Meeting

Multiple ways to join your Microsoft Teams meetings.

Join from Email Invitation

  1. Open the meeting invitation email
  2. Click Join Microsoft Teams Meeting link
  3. Choose to open in the Teams app or continue in browser
  4. Configure your camera and microphone settings
  5. Click Join now

Join from Teams Calendar

  1. Open Microsoft Teams
  2. Click Calendar on the left sidebar
  3. Find and click your meeting
  4. Click Join

Join from Outlook Calendar

  1. Open the meeting in your Outlook calendar
  2. Click Join Teams Meeting button

Before You Join – Check Your Settings

  • Camera: Toggle on/off as needed
  • Microphone: Start muted if joining a large meeting
  • Background: Click the background icon to blur or add virtual background

Troubleshooting

  • Can’t hear others? Check your speaker selection in audio settings
  • Others can’t hear you? Ensure your microphone isn’t muted and correct device is selected
  • Camera not working? Check if another app is using it; restart Teams
  • Audio echo? Use headphones or mute when not speaking
