Check for Spectrum Service Outages

Is There an Outage in Your Area?

Before troubleshooting, check if Spectrum is experiencing service issues near you.

Method 1: My Spectrum App (Quickest)

  1. Open the My Spectrum app
  2. Sign in to your account
  3. Any outages will be displayed on the home screen
  4. Tap for more details and estimated restoration time

Method 2: Spectrum Website

  1. Visit spectrum.net/support/internet
  2. Sign in with your account
  3. Outage alerts will appear at the top of the page
  4. Click for details about affected services and restoration estimates

Method 3: Call Spectrum

  1. Call 1-833-267-6094
  2. The automated system will check for outages in your area
  3. You can also speak to a representative for more info

Method 4: Check Social Media

  • Twitter: @Ask_Spectrum
  • Large outages are often posted on their social media

During an Outage

  • Don’t unplug your equipment – let Spectrum push updates
  • Service usually restores automatically when the outage is fixed
  • Use mobile hotspot as temporary backup if needed
  • Check the app periodically for updates

After the Outage

If service doesn’t restore automatically after an outage ends:

  1. Try restarting your router
  2. Wait 5 minutes and test your connection
  3. If still not working, contact our helpdesk
